Default Help for gun novice.- H&R value?

Going to finish cleanup of my late father's house.

Before he died he said that there were pistols in the cellar, diassembled, oiled and in a bag.

Also found a hand written description in his stuff..

Harrington & Richardson 32 cal S&W ser # 385158.

Harrington & Richardson Auto Ejecting 38 cal S#227-108

( condition not known and I have no ability to judge)

I'm not sure that they are there ( his memory/focus was not good at the end) but if I come across them I'd like to know what they are worth.

If not worth much, I'll probably call the Police to come and get them as transporting in MA is not an option.

If valuable, I'll secure in place and plan next move.
