Cool savage 99 30/30 What is is worth

Looking for info on a Savage model 99 30/30 serial #360680 . any info is appreciated.

Well, don't know. The Savage 99 is a very desirable rifle and it came in a multitude of flavors. Very little information can be give with out clear pictures.

The inside of the barrel is swirled. Has the counter on the side, straight stock,indicator on top and safety by the trigger, hammerless, rotary magazine,metal plate on butt. seral #360680.was found in an old barn.. was in peices... put it back together... its really beautiful

That serial number shows to be 1937, it could be a couple of different rifles, with out pictures the value range is 600 in like new condition down to 75 in as use as a tomato stake. You can see the problem with out any ideal of condition.

they're commanding a pretty good price here in WA, seen some beat up ones going for $400+

Pics would help a lot for certain.

I've been looking for one in decent shape in .250-3000, found one for $450 in good shape last year and got cheap at the wrong moment.

There was a dude at the Puyallup, WA show that had a beautiful featherweight .250 for $900, eyed that thing for a couple years....

.30-30 and .300 are super common, bore condition would be the biggest selling point I would think.
