I was all set to make the Magnum Research Baby Desert Eagle II in .45 my next purchase. While I have been saving for it, I came across the Sarsilmaz K2 .45. This purchase would be for range use and home defense.
The Sarsilmaz holds 14 + 1 rounds to BDE II 10 + 1. The weight is about the same 39oz +. I can get the Sarsilmaz for about $80 less than the BDE II. I would appreciate any input anyone may have with either or both of these pistols.

I have the Jericho 941 (9mm). Quality of build is outstanding. Accurate and feels great in the hand. I'm pretty certain the .45 would have the same qualities.

Is the Sarsilmaz K2 that unpopular or not very good. I know it is manufactured in Turkey,
but the reviews I've read seem to portray this pistol as a quality choice. I too have a Jericho 941 in 9mm. It is the gun I shoot with the most accuracy, large 3 dot sights are fantastic.
