New phone...a slight pain in the butt!
Well...i went and got a Samsung Galaxy pad phone. It has that spelling thing that "assumes" it knows what i am typing and completes it on my behalf...usually WRONG.
Oh yeah...i have my work cut out for me! I did buy the 5 gig data plan and the phone can be tethered to the laptop or i can create some kinks of personal hotspot for a wireless internet thingie. It will take a bit to figger it out... Glocknut is soon to return.... GlockNut G1N1 Aka Uncle Fester

This thing is a bugger to type on. Fat chubby fingers...but they did include a built in pen. That helps quite a bit.

I use the tethered on my blackberry on my customers computers all the time. It works very good. You will like that feature.

Yeah those spellication things are a pain. They keep trying to tell me how to pronuncicate and spellicate words. Whats with that? With my grasp of vocabulary skills, it kinda is lost on me.

I turned mine off. It kept trying to correct my TX redneck dialect and had me sending things like "I foot you too" to my wife. Stoopid dumb smart phone..

John Henry's wife here: I just got an HTC One X, what a transition from a Blackberry Pearl! In one of the settings tabs, sprockets or whatever Icon your tools/settings are there is a spot to turn on/off auto fill. Thank goodness I found that, totally by mistake, mind you. Just started to play with the microphone to type for me.... When I get done LOL and *%$#*&, I'll get back to you... The MRS.

I got one of the androids.My sister gripes me out cause I never turn it on.Its for emergencies and playin games in the doc office and listening to music.
