I have a Winchester 30-30 and would like to know the year it was made if possible.I know the serial number in a lot of guns can be linked to the year it was manufactured and i would greatly appreciate any help.it ejects spent casings over the shoulder and this is what is on the barrel..........WINCHESTER MODEL 94 30-30 WIN MADE IN NEW HAVEN.CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL...............serial # is 4657069....................there are two stamps with a P over a W in an oval,one on barrel and one on the receiver where the two meet.thank you for any help on how to identify the age of my rifle!
