Just saw that on the local news here T2S and with the details and the way "they" covered it, kinda sounded like it """could""" have been something else??? With what details I heard them talking about (which doesnt mean much) he may have been a bit peroniod or thinking what if it would happen again while he was in the place. Which, weapons in a place as such, not good.

I thought that too. but a bag full, if it's true, is not somthing someone takes with them for a night out at the movies.

The only other time I have more than my CCW on me is if I'm hunting or going to the range.

did I read something about him having a vest and gas mask in the bag? maybe he was being prepared in case another nut job came in shooting.

on very -very- rare occasion i might have 2 carry guns on me. ie.. my sig p230 in a iwb holster, and my keltec p38t in a wallet holster.. but it's 99% of the time one or the other.

The way i read it, they say he had one weapon, 3 mags, and 3 knives. The other stuff was at his home. He kinda sounds like more of a prepper than a nutjob.

So if you are a good Boy Scout, and have a few thousand rounds of ammo,
20 guns, MRE's, gas mask, and God forbid....some friggin' duct tape
IN YOUR HOME......you are a bad guy !
Altho I think something is fishy here, I know that taking a bag like that with those items
into a movie theater, especially at this time, is one STUPID thing to do.

He noticed and searched Smith's bag, finding three knives inside, as well as a loaded 9 mm Glock handgun, two additional loaded magazines, and a fourth knife under his clothes. and being prepared is a must but.....

i agree.. a lil fishy.

a carry gun ont he person.. a knife and perhaps a single extra mag is usually enough for the average 'concerned' citizen..
