It's a little on the heavy side but that doesn't bother me that much. It's a lot of fun to shoot.I've put a brick of CCI-Blazers through it in the last two days and there were no falures to feed. Also to seems to fuction without cleaning unlike other guns that start to fail after a couple of hundred rounds or so.I also like the fact that it says"Made in America or not made at all"on the box.I took a while to find just where the sites were hitting,I got that down now.
If any one out there has done alot of lever action shooting, the bone on the top of my middle finger is really sore.I put bandaid with the pad on top to cushion my finger on the second day. It's kind of "Old School"/Old Teck shooting but it's kind of becoming my favorite 22 rifle. I'll have to try some more types of ammo and see what happens.Overall I'm glad I bought it.It's going with me everytime I go shooting now.I'll have to post some pictures soon.

Well, it's practically a stoneable sin in the eyes of the politicians down there to even have a gun, but illegal due to tube magazine capacity. Nothing is allowed over .22 caliber unless you're military or a museum. ( other requirements and bs too, Jack can explain the headache better )

Henry's and Marlin's in my opinion have to be some of the most accurate .22's Ive ever dealt with.

A few years back I took my son to a gun shop and I bought him the Henry youth model 22 lever action and I got myself the Henry big loop. Well my son was 7 years old, and when we got home I told him we’ll just leave them on the pool table in the basement for now. I wanted to let the wife know about the new purchase in my time (I think you know what I mean). Well when we got upstairs my BOY yelled out “mom, dad bought me a new gun!” Great timing but it was ok. Now, he did not shoot the new 22 for a couple of years. But any time he want to handle it I got it out and showed him the proper way to handle a gun and we talked about gun safety. He is going to be 19 years old in December and he still uses that Henry to squirrel hunt. I have a lot of semi auto 22’s but the Henry is the favorite.
