Default Photos from the range. Very relaxing Saturday.

Lots of fun. Now I am tired, but it was worth it. Today was strictly pistol. Tommorrow is rifle. This is where I shoot with my friends. Note the sillohouette. www.antelopeclub.org

Geeze Remi...What distance you shooting at? For a pocket sized handgun I'd call that good shooting.

The booth number is 40, the distance is 10 yards. The phone camera makes it look further away. I used a Beretta Bobcat.
It was alot of fun.

Looks like you had a lot of fun. I wish there was a range like that near here. I useually go by myself and sometimes some company would be nice.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I woulda' figured 40 yrds easy, if I didn't ask. Good shooting though...Those who never get out and practice with their carry pieces cannot hope to know their weapon very well when called upon. Personally I should have spent less time fishing Sat, since its the wrong time of the year for good fishing anyway, and practiced with the .357 Mag.

A friend just called me and wants to go rifle shooting there today. We will use the 50 and 100 yard ranges. I am now preparing my Remington 597 in .17HMR and also the EAA AK Saiga in .223REM.
His girlfriend has a whole bunch of Pepsi cans in the recycling bag. They won't stay in that bag for long, we're stealing the whole bag!!!
I also need to stop by the grocery store and pickup a few avacados. They make excellent targets. Its always a pleasure to see a .17HMR or a .223REM shell go through an avacado. The range masters frown on that, but I know the guy in charge today, so if I let him squeeze off a few rounds, he lets us shoot as long as we clean it up good. If they don't have avacados, I also like to shoot squash or pomegranates. They are not cheap, so I usually get only about 4 or 5.
If you folks are ever in West Central Florida, message me and I will take you to our range www.antelopeclub.org and we'll have a good time.
These are the rifles we'll be shooting in about two hours.

Have no fear Remmy, the next time I have to go to Orlando to see the sister in law I'm gonna let you know so you can take me to that range. I might even let you look at my Glock.

Thanks, I had a great time, everybody is always welcome down here in these humid parts. Please pm me when you are visiting. We have a nice group of folks here who love to shoot and are similarly minded ideologically.
