Obama, Elena Kagan ... Snopes

OK,

I received a mail from someone I respect stating that there was a mail going around back at the time when Obama nominated Elana Kagan for Supreme Court Justice. I never saw that mail, I wasn't back living in the US at the time. The mail I just received though states that Snopes reported that original mail as being a fraud. This all has to do with Obama being sued in the Supreme Court and 'supposedly' Elena Kagan being the one representing him at the time.

Well, the info as it is being circulated is TRUE - to a degree. The one I received states that Elena Kagan represented Obama and is the Solicitor General of record in ALL these Supreme Court Dockets. This isn't true. What is TRUE is that Elena Kagan IS the Solicitor General of record in Docket # 09-8857 and Docket #: 09-6790. Anybody is free to check this. Go to the website for the US Supreme Court www.supremecourt.gov. On the top right above the search box, select 'Docket'. In the search box type 'Obama Kagan'. Search... The two dockets listed here will be in the list. Read them and you can see that Elena Kagan is indeed the Solicitor General of record for Obama.

Now, does anybody know of any other time in history when a sitting President has put someone on the Supreme Court as a Justice who represented him while he was President in a case in the Supreme Court?

Anybody besides me think our president may have been 'repaying a favor'? I wonder if this is actually legal to have happened.

And Snopes apparently reported this whole allegation to be false at the time when in fact there is truth to it.

snopes also states obama was born in the USA that there is no issue with the birth certificate or the SSN

i got a nasty email from them to stop telling folks about obama in the UN and his time there , i posted all the UN documents that obama signed while there .

they led the protest and the application to have it made confidential

they worked to suppress the truth about obama

i hate him for his time before he gotb into US politics , he's made a fortune from the misery of those in Rwanda and now he's doing likewise to your nation

Jack, down there in Australia, you can just tell Snopes to 'bugger off'. There isn't a damn thing they can do to you for posting what are not classified documents. It's not actually legal here to make a public UN document classified. Besides - what would be the point in trying. You can't classify an unclassified document once it has spread around the world. You simply should have told them 'piss off' and there's nothing they could have done to you.

Oh, I'm sure that they can try to act, spend lots of money doing so, but the bottom line is that they can not win a prosecution against someone who has done nothing illegal. The fact that they "don't like what was done" isn't going to get anyone put in jail for breaking a non-existent law

seen that happen here , folks who spojke up against gun control and the government

tried to put me in it too , i got my own doctors , higher up the food chain , top line proffessors , they all said i was sane and demanded how such a false diagnosis was possible with the no clinical time history ( they had never even examined me but wrote it all up )

thats the only defence

show their doc's as the lowest cost advice

but theres no doubt the non beleivers will get a way easier ride

while us believers , we'll we know they plan to torture and behead many ..
