spent today lifting the mini mill and tramming the head ( getting it straight )
1/2 a day to get it set as the bench was off by a fly's toe , all sorted now but a waste of a day its baby moo moo time as the youngest grandie told me i've had 15 calves drop the past two weeks so they've been keeping me busy and i've been buying a few poddy's ( calves mothers reject or are orphaned or just sold off ) and been running round collecting these as well , lots to do to make a buck |

actually the older ones do, rather proud of them
the youngest well gotta bad habit of walking under where he shouldn't been kicked once ( you know how they push other calves away ?) and messed upon a couple times he's 3 so try to keep him outta it all for now , i've put him in charge of the geese they know he's no threat and will take all sorts trash treatment from him |

Nothing better than taking care of livestock and other farm-type activity to build character. The kids are learning more than feeding animals from you. Good work.
A lot of good people come from farm backgrounds. |

kzink77 welcome to the forum. You have found the place that is full of friends, help, and good fun. If you have reloading questions, this is the right place. Be careful, though; you'll find yourself spending as much time here as you do reloading, eating, and sleeping. It's addictive here.
You have a great setup there; looks airy, lots of room. Thanks for the picture. Last edited by BlackEagle; 08-30-2012 at 06:23 AM.. |

Welcome to the forum! That shelving on your right will come in handy in the near future! My reloading bench isn't much bigger than yours, and my problem IS storage! Good luck, have fun!

thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I have reloaded a lot of differant types of ammo with my dad at his house, he has the piggyback progressive stuff for 9mm and .45 acp and does alot of 30.06 match shooting, this is my first setup of my own though, still need to get a powder measure and some other supplies but have enough to keep me busy for awhile

Mine is kinda messy right now. With dove season here and the Kinsley Kids shoot coming up I have been loading 2 to 3 hundred shells each day.

Agedhunter, great start. Anxious to see the finished product. The bench looks sturdy.

What brand mini lathe is that Jack?
I assume the mini mill is the same brand as well?

I finally got around to getting a pic of my bench. It's not much but it gets the job done just fine.
