I've never encountered severe leading, it's way overhyped IMO. I will clean them well after a range session but have not ever had issues with leading in rifle or pistol that a normal cleaning didn't take care of.

Very satisfying to make holes with your own! Looks like you're hooked now. spent some time on the LA sillouhette club's sight, very good info. Need to start doing my own alloy here soon, down to my last 100lbs of WW.

i dont use hardness testers i recover the rounds and check the goove and land marks to see if they are clean or "serrated" looking which means too soft and leaving lead behind
