Default Prayer Request

I am going to have a Cardiac Catheterization tomorrow morning. I have to be there at 0645. I am truly not looking forward to this thing. Request a mention when you say your prayers tomorrow morning.

Background: In October 2004, I had a heart attack which lead to five bypasses. I have been having slight chest pains for the past couple of weeks. Cardiologist said I needed to have this cath done and if any blockages are found, he would be putting stints in. I was told that I would be at the hospital for a minimum of seven hours and if they have to put a stint in, then I would be there overnight.

2. Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.
3. We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers [are] as widows.
5. Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.
16. The crown is fallen [from] our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!
21. Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.

Heavenly Father -

I come before you this evening with one request, Lord.
I ask that you would place your hand on George.
I ask that you would give him strength and calmness.
I ask that you would give him full assurance that you are with him.
And tomorrow morning, Lord, I ask that you would be with every member of the medical team that will be working on him.
I ask that you would take full control of this thing, and that every thing will be done perfectly.
I ask that you would bring a complete healing to this man, Father, and stop any hindrances, complications, setbacks, or anything else that would slow his recovery from this.
I ask that you would restore him quickly, and bring him back to full activity in such a manner that the doctors just scratch their heads.

And I ask all of these things in the name of Jesus the Christ, the great physician.

Amen -
