Same here. But only around the house And only because I dont want them biting my kids, who also find the same fascination with serpents that I do, yet have not gained the familiarity to recognize the poisonous ones at glance.

I have a couple of close family members that breed snakes. Mostly Ball Pythons. They are working out a rare breed using Het Pied, spyders and albinos. They are a generation (snake generation that is) away from having offspring that bear all 3 genes. works out to about an $18K dollar snake, and one female can clutch a half dozen or so at a time.

Im bettn half of the snake haters would overlook thier disdain for serpents if they were breeding 18K dollar snakes and couldnt keep them in stock. Mark and CHarlie literally have folks calling on a daily basis to see when the next Het pied spyder albinos are gonna be born. Herpetology is a fascinating science.

Speaking of cats, these wacko cats that come up with the idiotic
defense of 'why' they are this or that [the gay gene, the alcoholic
gene, the.....] now say obsession with being online, logging in to your
favorite blog, FB, etc. is not your fault.....it is in your family genes !!
I was in a tire shop Saturday morning, and this came on the TV
on Fox News.

I was never a fan of cats until my girlfriend moved in and wanted one. Somehow that 1 cat turned into 7 cats. I guess they have grown on me. I have even taught one of them to give kisses and roll over.
I have always been a guy who loves dogs, and I have 3 big ones.....1 Black Lab, 1 Chocolate Lab, and 1 English Fox Hound. The cats and dogs get along great and even drink out of the same water bowl at the same time.
