So what the good Dr. is saying is that if you intoxicate the person who owns the gun, the gun becomes more likely to hurt someone. But that seems to imply that the dangerous nature of a gun is derived from its owner which is contrary to the belief that guns are inherently dangerous. In other words, they're admitting it's the person behind the gun that leads to the violence, not the gun itself. |
