Default My Daughter after 400 rounds

So, I posted in the hunting forum a number of weeks back my oldest Daughter and I went through CO's hunter's education course (2 days). She wanted to improve her aim so I got an old Remington 33 single shot 22 for her to practice with. She really likes it. The cardboard box is after about 400 shots. The first 200 were at 50 feet, the next 200 shots were at 100 feet. The paper target is 200 shots at 100 feet. This was her 3rd time shooting ever. We are heading out again sunday for more practice

Here she is happy as can be !!
You can probably guess, if you have teenage daughters...when they hit 13-14 they don't have much to do with dad anymore...so she is 17 now and I'm happy to hang out and have fun!

She must have a good teacher...100 feet, open sights; she must be getting the hang of it. She really looks like she is enjoying the sport.

Glad you two are getting some great father-daughter time.

What a great smile still after 400 rounds through a single shot. She must have the patience of Jobe. Great shooting!

Thank you everyone! She has more patience than I do ...She loves shooting that single shot too, i was surprised! She would like a marlin 60 for christmas though. I got to say it is pure joy to spend the day like that. It seems the past 3 or 4 years we were seperated by this giant wall...We couldn't communicate too well...and suddenly, doing the class and target shooting together, everything seemed to have changed. I didn't expect to have this kind of relationship for another 10 years!! I feel really blessed to be able to have this time now.

Your kind comments mean a ton to me too! This has to be the best place to hang out with folks of common interests. I've learned so darn much. Thanks again.

Girls who own & shoot guns regularly are 99% less likely to be abused wives...
and the last 1% only have it happen ONCE
