Default Harrington and Richardson 5 shot .32

Just picked up this Harrington and Richardson .32 caliber. It functions well and retains about 95% of the original finish.

Nice.

I have one, not nearly as nice, with an exposed hammer. Also in 32 S&W....

Never have fired it!!

The hammerless was used by Ilsa Lund in Casablanca. I have not shot it yet, but I plan to.

Conman, no it is not the actual gun used in the movie, but it is the same model. Igrid Bergman pointed her H&R at Rick, trying to get the letters of transit from him. Rick stepped in closer to her so she would have an easier shot. Classic.

How much did you pay for it?

WHSmithIV, the gun was part of a lot purchase. I went to a neighbors house (a Korean War Veteran) to help him cut down some trees overhanging his cabin. We live in a rural area of Pennsylvania. He was low on food and I wanted to give him some money but he wouldn't take it. After the work was done he showed me his gun collection, nice WWI K98 and matching bayonet with scabbard, a 1903 Springfield, German Luger etc. Then he showed me a box of guns and asked if I wanted them. I gave him 200.00 for the lot. 10 guns plus a Colt 1911 Frame and Slide. So to answer your question: $20.00 for the H&R.
