because the entire event was truly....politically incorrect....
[Those of you that missed it, really missed it]
Many more people than last year, and I am truly blessed
for being allowed to attend. Sound cheesy? Hmmm.......
didn't see any cheese, but plenty of large Gulf Shrimp,
sausage, cob corn, taters, beans<whew>, barbecued Butts.....
and all the other trimmings, even donuts that had bad holes.
[even the dogs were wonderful]

The live music.....let me say this, then you conclude what
we may have heard........

We just got back but we really enjoyed our weekend with all of you fine folks. I wish more of you could have made it, but you missed out...maybe next year. Start making plans today for next year! I know Sam wants to meet more and more of you and so do the rest of us.

Same here Ozo. Carl and I were talking about you yesterday afternoon and He said you were as sharp as a tack and without delay between the words in the sentence i finished with and as fast as they come. Just a perfect description of your character.

I just think anyone anywhere would be hard pressed to find better company than we had this weekend.

Yeah. I saw George was logged in. maybe hes uploading pics. But Myles and Miss Laura live almost as far back this way as I do. And its been raining all day here in TX. If he aint checked in in the next couple hours Ill call him. Id hate to wake him from a nap.

A 2 hour nap in the recliner feels sooo good after 12 hours straight on the road.

I've been home a couple of hours, but could not get to the computer. Wife had me out to go grocery shopping.

As has been said a couple of times, if you missed it you really MISSED IT. We had one helluva good time. Friday night was fun but WOW, Saturday night was great. We had out own private concert and even a late night sing-along. Boy, can that Songman sing a country song!!

we experienced yesterday....not even on the planet I come from !!

Only way Jan went out with me when we met, she 'thought' I was

shooot. That would be me.. I musta tore up at least a half a dozen grub spinners and caught prolly 40 or 50 fish. Most of them friday. I caught a few yesterday too though.

Oh and youll have 2 chances to meet a few of the folks Jim. We are still going to aim TFF TX 5 for the last week of april as we have, and the weather was so nice in GA this weekend I see no reason sam would want to push that date either. So im fairly sure TFF TX and TFF BBQ are end of APRIL middle of SEPT respectively pretty much permanently from here on out..

Thanks JLA. We really wanted to go but we wanted to get the cash set aside for it. I know it had to be fun. What did everybody stay in. We don't have a camper and my wife is not a tent fanatic.

we drove up from Joshua TX, about 900 miles one way. spent 110 bucks on gas each way and we booked the motel on priceline for 39 bucks. so total trip cost us right about 300 bucks including eats for Beck and Myself, course Sam and Carl fed us good for the 2 days we were there so we were only out a subway sammage mid trip each way and breakfast friday morning when we got into Dalton. Pretty cheap vacation IMO. And Becks lil Hyundai averaged 34 a gallon. which is bad compared to some of the 40+ vehicles they are turning out these days.

Well worth the trip fellas!
