East coast get together!!!

So after talking with the boss(my wife) She likes the idea of having a TFF get together.
I am in NY around the finger lakes just south of Ithaca.
We have a pig roast every year with music and shooting and fireworks so this year i am thinking of making it a TFF get together.
How many of you would like to come?
I am trying to see if it would be something that would work.
We all see the fun everyone else has across the country at TFF get togethers.
It's time WE ALL HAVE FUN!!!!
I would love to meet all of the members face to face so lets see how many of you on this side of the fence would be interested.

It's a lot of fun getting together with other TFF members. I've met a lot of our members and want to meet them all some day.

We have the party in august every year but I'm flexible.

I will set a date when I am sure this is going to work.
We have the party in august And that was the month I was thinking about.
Yes NY can be a pain about hand guns but long guns are ok.
You can travel through ny with a hand gun but not carry it.
ag fox are the long islanders TFF members?
As for problems with guns you bring or the fireworks half of the people that come are LEO and are NOT looking for a bust if they were they would have to write themselves up.(sense half of the fireworks are confiscated and are being disposed of properly)And you should see the weapons they bring!
So far there has not been much feedback about this so I gess we will see

Yea I will but when I put out the invite I did not think about the pistol problems in NY I was thinking more of wanting to meet some TFF members and give the eastern people a chance to get together.

According to Google Maps that's 1400 miles for us, 24 hours. I have never been to NY, so I'm thinking about it!

That is one of the most beautiful areas in the country, a good portion of New York State would get my vote for one of the most scenic areas anywhere. The Finger Lakes area up through the Adirondacks is just beautiful, can't say enough about the scenery.

This never came together
Not many people wanted to come(3).and they could not make it at the same time.
And the fact that this is NY no one wanted to bring there guns.(I guess I can't blame them)
But the offer for anybody who wants to stop in is still open.
I am going to start this again for next year but earlier so I can get more people to come.Maybe it will do better if I just set a date and post it in jan-feb.
I am checking on the time limit you have when bringing in a pistol to NY but have been told by LEO that if you are just coming in for a day or two there should be no problems but will get a good answer.

Yes, let me know. Only about 4 hrs for me and the wife loves going to the wineries around the lake. My daughter used to play softball tourneys there in summer and we loved that area. My brother lives up outside Rochester and has indoor range on his farm. Kill a few birds with one stone.

My wife tells me that we are going up to New England, some time next summer. If the dates work out right, I might just drop in on ya'll.

Well it looks like a get together will be happening next summer
But in the mean time there is a open invitation to ALL TFF members.
