Seriously though. Another Border Patrol Officer killed and I'd be willing to bet that they'll never find the sshooter. Even if this had turned out differently and the officers returned fire and killed the shooter, what do you think would happen. They'd end up in jail just like the last ones.

Just read an article that said the FBI is saying this was a case of friendly fire.

Yep. Calling it friendly fire now. And if you believe that one, I've got some oceanfront property in Oklahoma for you. Used to be that the FBI was impartial. Now, with O's friends in charge, it's as political as you can get.

This kind of press the men and women in green do not need. Not to mention the terrible loss for the family. Two agents approaching an area from one direction, one agent approaching from another direction, pitch black, very brushy area, no visibility...a recipe for disaster. But you would THINK that since this is what they do, in the environment in which they DO it, that they would have procedures worked out to minimize chances for this very thing. RETURNING fire in the dark is one thing, but INITIATING fire against a target you cannot identify is something else altogether. I hope we get to hear the specifics.

(Even if "we" do not, I might. I'll pass along any info I'm able to.)
