For this cool YouTube video, you’ll have to think big. I mean, really big! Our solar system is huge. The distance from the Sun to Earth is 93 million miles. And our solar system extends much further than that. However, our solar system is a small part of our galaxy. In fact, we sit on the outer edge of the Milky Way galaxy. The sheer size is difficult to comprehend. However, on a clear night you can see it. This is a time-lapse video taken at a Texas stargazing party. It captures the center of our galaxy. It’s a bright cluster of stars coming up over the horizon. And it’s a beautiful sight to see.
