I finally crossed over. I've been lying in the fetal position with cold sweats for the last couple of days waiting for the other thing to reappear--my hats off to you guys that have shut it down--it must of been an awe inspiring sight!!! I found the strength to drag myself away from the enormous amount of paperwork that has some how magically completed itself, and I have now entered into the untold other world to once again type away the part of the day that I cannot drink away. I recognize alot of the names; however, there are many more that I am not acquainted with.
Hi. Name's Ben. I'm 25 years old. In my spare time I like to bow hunt, pistol hunt, fish, scuba dive, waste time, listen to good music, chase tail, imbibe beer-wine & liquer, watch fox news, gamble, help the homeless, introduce people to shooting, argue with democrats, plan gun purchases that I never make(my next is a Barrett .50), make new friends, and create huge run-on sentences. Most of what I type doesn't make it past my conscience and won't be posted; however, I am trying to give up my conscience for New Years so we'll see how that goes. I am not easily offended so when you're talking to me, please don't sugercoat your thoughts.
Thanks for having me.
P.S. What's the difference between guided mode & enhanced. I chose enhanced--hopefully it will be better.
Here's a C&P from the FAQ re guided vs enhanced...
When using normal mode, pressing a button will pop-up a dialog for you to fill with text. It will then enter the text with the appropriate vB Code tags at the end of your message.
When using enhanced mode, pressing a button will insert the appropriate STARTING tag for the code, leaving you to enter text into the message area. When you have finished the text and want to close the tag, simply press the Close Current Tag button (alt+c). You may also nest tags in enhanced mode, and then use the Close All Tags button (alt+x) to close all open markup. Please note that the 'close tag' buttons only close tags that have been entered using the code buttons.
...which may be more than you ever wanted to know!

Re: A New guy
About time you got here. As for all the things that you do, my hats off to you, but this thing you seem to have with planning gun purchases and not completing them is absolutely baffling to me, as I am certain it baffles others here, but will not dwell on that and will continue on to your comments about most of the things you want to say won't make it past your conscience, which in itself is a remarkable feat, considering the fact that I didn't know you even had a conscience, but I ramble on and, like you, sometimes have a thing about writing interminable volumes that end up in extremely long rambling sentences that, on examination, seem to be paragraphs!
