Well the rain held off today and the wind wasn't blowing so I loaded up my gear and headed to the range. I took my handloads to see how they would do and I also took some factory ammo to compare with.
![]() These are my handloads. Not great but I'm not a great shot anyway. ![]() Here are the two togather. The left is the factory ammo and the right is my own handloaded ammo. I got a .300" better group out of my stuff. It is a start anyway and I still have all my fingers too!! Load data: Remington once fired brass fully resized Winchester Large Rifle Primers 56 grains of H 4350 155 grain Nosler Custom Competition HPBT 3.300" OAL Factory ammo: Winchester Power Point 150 grain Rifle: Ruger M77 Mk II .30-06 Conditions: Warm and humid, cloudy skies, no wind.

Congratulations on your first handloads! It will probably only get better as you figure out what recipe your rifle likes.

Fantastic start. I have some handloads I hope to try this weekend. If I can do half as well as you I will be delighted.
