Default E-Smokes anyone?

I thought I saw a thread a while back on this but can't find it. From the limited research I've done, it's kind of sold me. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, it's an electronic cigarette that has an atomizer built in so that as you inhale it emits a scentless vapor and has none of the carcinogens of a regular smoke. Therefore, all you get is the nicotene, and everyone around you is happy.

The anti tobacco bluenoses are already up in arms about this.

I got polled today by the CDC. It was a 15 minute survey strictly on tobacco use. I figured I'd take it so that I could voice my opinion on the fricking nanny state.

They did ask a couple of questions about e-smokes.
Had I tried it. If I opposed it.

Their eye is on it. Hookahs too.

I've heard of it, thinking about using it to quit if I can't do it on my own.

I found the original thread and Xavier56 kindly led me to www.e-cigarette-forum.com. All the information you'll ever need and then some. I'm going to do a little more research before picking the proper brand for me.

I gave up and went on drugs again...I'm an addict I admit it.

I think I'm going to have to go for the Chantix...the side effects sound pretty scarry, but I've known quite a few individuals that were able to quit in 7 days without the withdrawl...my family would like that part.

Yeah, but I'm tired of paying over $5-$6 a pack. Damn socialist anti-everything because they don't do it, if it makes someone else happy LEAVE IT ALONE. lol

The Mrs. just got these about two weeks ago. Neat little gadget, works as advertised. She's still trying to figure out when she's gonna quit. When she did try it, the vapor looks as though she's smoking a real cig. The blue light on the end gives it away. Hope it works for most, the cost of a carton is ridiculous. I quit when cigs were 5 bucks a carton. Jeese!!

So when are they gonna come out with E-dip? Not much support for those of us who stick the tobacco in our mouths!
I'm jealous!

No, I think they just plug into the wall or use batteries.

Sometimes it is mind-numbing here.

E-Cigarettes? I'd rather just have a Marlboro. Nothing like a good drag in the morning.

Little study done into the health of such a product- for all you know this could significantly increase your chances of getting cancer.

I have a friend who gave it a try, now he just smokes it AND his cigarettes...

But to each its own, obviously it works for some people.
