Default Bayonettes

Am I the only one who realizes the sillyness of them being illegal. These liberals are so worried about the bayonette that they forget the gun that it's mounted on. I personally would worry about the AK or M16 more than the visual toy that's on it. Heck even if the shooter ran out of ammo and charged me with it I'd be alot more pleased with the situation. I can always use a kitchen chair to fight back.

Just a rant. Excuse me....

I am confused, bayonets are illegal in the US? Surely not.

Is it that the mounts on rifles need to be removed? If so, all rifles?

This is an odd one..

I had heard bayonets are illegal to display in public, but wasn't sure if it was true. Nobody at my usual range seems to care but I'm not the only one with a rifle that has one.

Why worry about the AR or AK, Chuck?

Everyone should have one. Then, we'd all be on the same playing field.

Bayonet rules differ on weapons according to BATFE. Some C&R guns are allowed to have them, according to some that I've read.

I've got them on my Mosin M44 and on my SKS. They were "stock" with the gun, it's true configuration.

I love it. Not the first pistol bayonet I have seen though. Probably a good idea to remove it before re holstering, especially IWB!

I have a bayonet and scabbard that was a war trophy brought bach from the Spanish American War by my Great Great Grandfather. It is a sabre type produced in France. I reckon that makes it a bayonette.

I recognize the photo Tranter posted...I have seen the exhibit.....that pistol belonged to a famous outlaw who
kept the pistol down the front of his trousers unholstered...his aka was " Sideways Steppin Sam "...originally....although at the end of his career ...for some reason ...he was known as " Strait walkin Sue " ?.
..........

....... pray for me....I am a sick person....
