Default 629 vs Anaconda

Would like to know your thoughts on these two guns? Pro's and
Con's. Dont consider price. Thanks for your help.

Ok, you want to know how the Anaconda compares to the 629...can't tell you as I've never shot a 629...but, do have an Anaconda and love shooting it, my son loves shooting it.

The Colt big snake is a heavy and steady gun and seems to dampen recoil a lot.

I own a few S&W revolvers such as .44 special, .45 acp, .45 Long Colt, and love them too, but am completely satisfied with the Anaconda's performance.

If you get a chance to buy one they ain't cheap. But Colt was having a lot of problems at one time and you should be careful buying an Anaconda, try and have a smith look it over you trust.

The mid season of manufacturing these guns are good as I have one. Try and look up the serial number range of the firearms if you can.

Good luck.

I've always looked on the Smith vs. Colt thing sort of like BMW vs. Mercedes. Both high end, and high quality.

Whichever fits your hand and your shooting style best....you can't really go wrong with either.
