Could some please help me to understand how do you determine if a gun can shoot the +p and the +p+? I have been out of the shooting game for some time and so no answer will be too basic. Thanks parsons77 AntiqueDr Senior Chief Moderator Staff Posts: 1936 (2/1/02 5:11:38 pm) Reply | Edit | Del ezSupporter Re: +p & +p+ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stick with the manufacturer's recommendations, as found in the manual or from asking the manufacturer directly. Although +P+ is a bit more potent it is still not near the pressures of the .357-Magnum! Hope this helps! I'd want to know what pressure +P+ ammo was loaded to before putting it into any of my guns. I have been using and selling this ammo that I was lucky enough to purchase the only lot of This is Federal Premium Hydra-Shock 38SPL+P+ 147gr. Jacketed Hollow Point Law Enforcement ammunition. This ammo exceeds industry pressure standards and must only be used in modern/quality firearms in good condition.[ The Firearms Forum Vietnam Memories Bulletin Board Contact Administrator parsons77 Member Posts: 4 (2/3/02 4:34:24 pm) Reply | Edit | Del Re: +p & +p+ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks. All of you have helped and I appreciate you time and effort. I mostly shoot 357 but bought some LE 38 +P+ and was just checking.
