Settle down Son--it is part of life's plans to keep things in order and clean---remember what Moms would always tell you about changing your drawers and wearing socks with no holes just in case you got into an accident? Don't you just feel after getting your wheels all cleaned up and shiny that it cuts through the air better---draws more envious looks, especially from the gals. But there are those of us who drive others crazy, always wiping crumbs or brushing lint---my own kids rebelled later in life with what I put them through keeping their rooms squared away, their dresser drawer straightened and hair cuts every once in a while---they begin to look like damn old mountain men when they got out on their own!!! I don't pull the washer/dryer or refrigerator out to clean under them (not every week anyway). There have been times even the wife will call me Mr. Clean and it wasn't because of my bulging muscles or bald head!!! Chief

Cool

It's just a bad time of year to be a bachelor Chief.

A man needs a female to give directions on things like spring cleaning. Being just me, I kinda go in all directions at once and nothing really gets done.

berto....what does being a bachelor have anything to do with all those cleaning problems? I have seen married women who had problems using a mop or anything associated with cleaning.....lol You just keep sweeping and try to remember those GI parties, I am sure it will all come back to you. However, you won't have to use a tooth brush this time...LOL

Hiya Hope!

What I meant was, I need someone to prioritize the chores. Like which should be done frirst, and then to keep cracking the whip so I won't go away and hide.

It's too easy for me to say, "That's enough for today!" and not come back later to finish anything.

You novices and your misery about cleaning---I am assured telling you this that you ain't seen/done/or heard tell of nuthin' until you've been involved with a field day preparing for Admirals Inspection. Stuff that can't be cleaned is painted over (Navy gray) and junk and contraband you don't want discovered is hauled off and buried. I suppose the Seabees weren't as driven about the inspections as the Black Shoe Navy was but they sure as hell made life miserable anyway. Common sense is out the window---. Chief

Chief.
In the Army those were called CMMI's,,,Command something or other inspections. Over the years I've done my best to forget those exercises in waxing and buffing concrete floors, cleaning the tops of every door in the barracks, tops of window frames, etc.

Also with the arthritus gaining more ground, I'm just getting lazier.
