It's starting to warm up here in good ole Louisiana and I started thinking about how good it is to have snowballs. How many of you have ever eaten one, and what are your favorite flavors. Oh, feel free to reply even if you do not know what the heck they are.

I've always lived where we get real snow. As a kid we used to make snowballs, pour Koolaid over them, and eat em'.

"Don't eat yellow snow!"

Rn, there are several snowball stands around town that will be cranking out snowballs all summer. Mmmmmmmm.

I remember as a kid we had a thing shaped like a snowman with a crank on the back. You took off his hat and dropped in ice cubes, then turned the crank and the shaved ice would collect in a round cavity in his belly. Anyone else have one of these?

Hey somo i had one but it was a snoopy one, it was an igloo with snoopy and woodstock on the front but the same idea you would turn the crank and it would collect in a paper cup, add flavoring, enjoy!

Use to have snocones as a kid and we also use to make sno-cream with vanila and even add sliced bannanas on top.

No shortage of the real thing up here-lots of snow this year and we usually use snowballs to throw at each other-as someone above said "Don't eat the yellow ones!!!" We had snowcones up here in the summer and my favorite was the purple ones.
