friday i sold my .45 to my friend for $400 and saturday i got up and went to a couple of the local shops to do some shopping.i ended up buying a brand new S&W model 1076 in 10mm. it is stainless steel and is equiped with night sights.it cost me $375 out the door.i have only shot one clip through it because the local police had cleaned the gunshop out of 10mm but i bought a couple of boxes this mornin.from what i could tell by the 9 rounds i put through it,it shoots great.does anybody else have one of these that can give me some feedback on it?

Congrats and welcome to the powerful world of the 10mm. If you REALLY want to make that gun shoot like it was designed to, check out Double Tap for powerful practice and defense loads. Their ammo is loaded hotter than the original NORMA loads, but still stay within SAAMI specs. Very good stuff!

You're gonna have to get a new forum name now.
The S&W is a great choice. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
