Deserted quarries, etc. Ideally I'd like to find somewhere within an hour or so of Hillsboro, OR. Anyone help?

I would suggest asking the local hunters where they shoot & sight in at. Hit the local cafe or watering hole and see what you can find.

Are there any borrow pits in the area away from roads?
