I just got this from an estate settlement. Estimated price $100. Would like to know date of birth and approximate value.

The H&R 922, SN# L31608 has a holster, is functional, reasonably clean, but front site is missing. If anyone knows where to go to get a site that would be appreciated too.

L prefix = 1951 manufacture.
$ 100 is probably about right for value. Try Numrich Gun Parts for the front sight. |

Thanks for the info jamesjo. I did a quick check at Numrich site, didn't see any info re: the site for this particular vintage, but I'll keep checking around.

I always call, they are very helpful, and have a bunch of stuff that isn't listed. |
