Default J Stevens A & T

Hi
I have a 32 long lever single marked patent 1794 its stevens favorite my dad wants to know what its worth. Any help thx Ralf

Made between 1886 and 1915. the A&T CO was dropped after 1915
Are you sure its 32 long or 32 rimfire ?

Need pics to give you more info.

It say's 32 long right on the rifle. On the butt it say's Stevens Favorite. It has 1794 also on it. I dont know it was my dads.

What you are reading as "1794" is the patent date of April 17, 1894 (there's a space between 17 and 94, eg Pat APR 17 '94)

Just dragged out some of my old notes and found a mention that your rifle came in three calibers 22,25,and 32, and every variation of these calibures.IE. short ,long,shot ect.
However ,Stevens Never chambered this rifle for any center fire cartridge.
So the stamp on your barrel is refering to the 32long rimfire and not center fire.

Once again we need pics to give you an ides of value.
