thanks to the socialist scum running this nation , this is the news today
they cant do a memorial for those who went off to Afghanistan as that would spoil the gays victory day as the ORDER people to vote for gay marriage http://www.smh.com.au/national/gilla...202-1oamu.html Julia Gillard has ordered the Right faction to stop squabbling and let delegates vote as they wish on proposed changes to Labor's policy platform concerning gay marriage. Ms Gillard's intervention ensures that Labor's platform will be changed to endorse gay marriage. It also absolves her from claims that a changed platform would amount to her authority being diminished. However Ms Gillard has also insisted MPs be given a conscience vote in when the matter comes before the Parliament. Ms Gillard sounded out factional bosses this afternoon at the ALP national conference in Sydney. She has called on the party to change its policy from opposing gay marriage to embracing a conscience vote. The Left wants to go further and push for a policy of outright support. There are enough defectors from the Right to ensure a close result and sources have told smh.com.au that Ms Gillard's position will be upheld by 10 votes or fewer. However, the Right has split and the ultra-conservative part of the faction allied to the Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees Association has lost the battle to stop changes to the party platform that will give same-sex marriage the same status as heterosexual marriage. Earlier today, Ms Gillard launched Labor's national conference and urged delegates to not hold back but to have a "fair dinkum" debate about issues. In stark contrast to the 2009 conference in which not a single vote was allowed, Mrs Gillard said this morning "we didn't come here for a coronation or a campaign launch" "We came here for debates, we came here for surprises, we came her to have votes," she said. "We didn't join Labor in our youth because we didn't have opinions." She called for the greater empowerment of the membership through a range of reforms but stopped short of the main push by the Left for half the delegates who attend the conference to be elected directly by the rank-and-file. She essentially outlined the reform position of the Right which calls for a trial of primary elections to preselect candidates and participatory forums to provide greater input into policy development. She said Labor must recognise that "old branches alone are not the future" and must embrace "new forms of online membership and opportunities for supporters to become more involved". She spoke of opportunities "to participate in policy development through genuine forums which include parliamentary, union and directly-elected representatives". Ms Gillard acknowledged what a tough year 2011 had been and sought to sow optimism for 2012. In a deliberate contrast to the opposition's reputation for negativity, Ms Gillard stressed that "Labor says yes to the future". Read more: http://www.smh.com.au/national/gilla...#ixzz1fLxOQnQ7 what this means is Gillard gave the controling vote not to elected representatives of the people but to lobbyists (spoken of as delegates) they aint MP's these are hand picked socialists , climate change advocates , pro gay , pro islam lobbyists , we are no longer a democracy , we are run by lobbyists .. it really cant get any worse it will but this is the end every law in this nation is null and void .. the lobbyist get a vote .. and our elected people get a conscious vote as a supplementary how generous and this is all OK by the UN .. its up to their new laws on voting , in fact theres a rule there where the UN can vote on behalf of a population to change laws or even a entire constitution , and you'll never know until its too late ..

no they got the delegates to vote ( not lawfull here but the UN likes it ) delegates are party members but not who we voted for to represent us , the votes are made by a mix of commo's socialists etc , even a couple islamists the only chance the people have is for the politicans in their conscience vote to say no in a 2/3 rds majority to block it , but they have just finished stacking the deck here
poofterism will be legal here by tonight .. the gays are already celebrating |

Not only funny, but some really weird wiring. Of course, I guess weird wiring has to come with the territory.
