Hi all, my first post here, kinda, maybe my 204th post, depending. Used to be a member here way back in 03, and just kinda lost my way for awhile.

Looking back through the archives brought back a lot of names I didn't know I remembered, and brought great sadness reading about the passing of Ruffitt.

Anyways, looks like this place has grown alot since last I was here. Good job guys. So who's still around from the olden days?

It be cold in my part of the world right now, snowing.... grrr, i'm really not that much in love with Germany, but i still have some time here.

other than that, just doing the army thing and spending time in 3rd world countries

Leaving 3rd world countries (with M14)

enjoying awesome sleeping arrangements

and occasionally getting to actually see my family

For you 17 year olds out there......

11B refers to Army MOS (Military Occupational Speciality)

11B denotes Infantry ....

...not cook, clerk or mess kit repairman.

But one well trained killin machine.....

100 years ago.....

...my MOS was 11B4P...

Again, for you unfamiliar with the Army....

11B = Infantry
the 4 = Rank of Sgt. E-5
the P = Airborne

Keep yer head down young man....that's a good looking family ya got there to get back to....

AL, i'm definately the one holding the M249 SAW, God what a heavy load that female dog is with 1200 rounds of linked ammos

The blindfolded guy pulled the trigger on the last IED to hit my squad this tour in Iraqifunland. Had to walk 600 meters back to the humvees with me, he wasn't a happy camper

although i have been known to wear a white man dress a time or two, they are surprisingly comfortable on a 120 degree day.

rosierita, when i have the chance to be stateside, i'm usually in rock hill (just south of charlotte nc) or chester county

and thanks for the warm welcome back everyone. i'll be sticking around for a while, my life is alot more stable now than back in the day. grow older, grow up, grow stable apparently
