Smile Did I make to much?

Since I had Spring Break off I decided to put to use my molds and spare time. So I made 5,500 230grn bullets for my 1911's.

Each box holds 1,000 230 grn round nose bullets.
I cast them from $32.00 worth of wheel weights.
The box off to the far left holds only 534 bullets.
The white box lower left holds 250, 255grn bullets in .45 colt.

I still have 67lbs of wheel weights left over.
Do I like to cast? Yes,....yes I do. I have a lot of fun doing it. I listened to Marty Robbins and the Kingston Trio while I was casting. I can't wait till the summer!!!!!!!!!

I'm beginning to drool at the idea of all the targets those bullets will help bring down. Great, now I need a napkin.

Well, you see I have sold them all for $200 as they are unsized and unlubed. I went to a gunshow back in February and took some of my bullets I had cast. I showed them to a vendor at a booth who sells reloading stuff. I was just looking to see if he had a lube/sizer for sale and he asked how much I wanted for a thousand of them. I told him I had to think about it and so I talked it over with my wife and we came to $30 for a thousand. When I went back the next day he just offered me $40 for a thousand before I had a chance to tell him my asking price. Well I was happy, He was happy and so I made them up and he will lube and size them.

I have my own stash anyway of 2,000 I made up for myself. Yes I will size and lube them. I enjoy this kind of stuff.

Never too many! Got you a business started now. Before you know it, the EPA/OSHA, etc will be coming to visit.

I will send you some Rick but I don't know if they are up to your standards.

The bullets (230 grn) are all tumble lube.
The 255 grn stuff has 2 lube rings, I don't have a lube/sizer yet.

Frosty, you CANNOT cast too many bullets. If you have more than you need, you just melt them down for ingots.
