Default Carbine barrel, bolt, and shoulder stock for 1911 gripframe.

I just got back from a local gunshow where I purchased a carbine barrel, bolt, and shoulder stock upper for a 1911 gripframe lower. Unfortunatly there was no book or instructions. Is anyone familiar with this setup? Or better yet does anyone have a manual or a website for this?

You are probably reffering to the Mech-Tech Carbine kit. Make sure when you put it toghter that you don't leave your house with the buttstock installed and the short pistol barrel is installed.

This is probably the maufactor http://www.mechtechsys.com/index.html

That's it, Mech Tech CCU, thanks allot Southernshooter. The Website has all the info I needed. Shot it once with the gripframe from my Kimber Custom TLE/RL II using the 1X Bushnel Red Dot sight that was on it. Then I put a 1X-4X-20mm tubular scope and the gripframe from my Wilson Combat KZ 45. It worked flawlessly with both setups. With the scope and a bipod I shot golf ball size groups at 50 yds using Winchester Silvertip 185 gr. Hollow Points. Color me a Happy Camper.
