Hi w6815......welcome to TFF.
Well.....this must be "Nice Colt 1911 Week" here at TFF. First DMoore's WWII Colt M1911A1, and now your Series 70 Gold Cup National Match.....one of my all-time favorites among 1911's. According to the Blue Book of Gun Values, your Mk.IV, Series 70 Gold Cup Nat'l Match is worth: 98% - $895 95% - $700 90% - $575 80% - $500 IMO, this is the sweetest shooting "out-of-the-box" Colt Auto ever made....and the Series 70's are more highly prized than the later National Match models. "Give me a Series 70 Gold Cup and a 6" Python, and I'll have the two best Colts ever made".......Me BTW, if you'd care to post the Serial # (you can X-out the last two digits, if you like), we can give you the year of manufacture. |
