I'm posting the Australian info newsletter here for those interested with the links included
According to the perpetually outraged it’s not only Christian owned businesses that need to be boycotted - the Greens' party has voted to continue to consider boycotts of Jewish owned businesses as a legitimate political tactic. Even though it is no longer official party policy I wonder how many of those horrible green triangle signs will appear behind Senator Lee Rhiannon at the next BDS protest? It seems that the Labor Party now have a policy of calling for tenders and then not awarding them. It first began with an early version of the National Broadband Network. Now the rot has been extended to the Australia Network. Don’t we deserve better from our government? If we don’t see some improvement soon, expect a few Aussie versions of this excellent video monologue about European political representation to spring up. It's great to see the new spirit of community co-operation between police and lawbreakers in the ACT. Police will soon be able to ask people to remove their identity concealing garments to check a driver's face against the photo on their licence. Of course, it is only appropriate as long as ‘utmost sensitivity’ is used and female officers are the only ones allowed to gaze upon a certain group of the unmasked. Just as the rest of the world comes to its senses on climate change, Australia has committed to a ridiculous carbon tax. I wonder why the mainstream media haven’t asked our climate tsars and enthusiasts about the damaging leaked emails known as Climategate 2.0 which discredit the so-called ‘settled science’ of climate change. While too many Australians are cowed into silence about important matters, one American visitor to our shores was prepared to run the gauntlet of ABC radio to speak up for freedom and common sense. You need to listen to Robert Spencer’s fantastic interview. Finally, one Australian who isn’t afraid to speak up for common sense is Australian Hotels Association supremo Peter Hurley. I attended their annual luncheon yesterday and it was invigorating to hear so much straight talk from so many committed small business owners.

why am i posting cory Bernardi and the brigade news here ?/
take a look why http://www.liamgetreu.com/2010/12/06...-bds-campaign/ Proposal passed by consensus at December Greens NSW State Conference. That the Greens NSW call upon all Australians and the Australian government to boycott Israeli goods, trading and military arrangements, and sporting, cultural and academic events as a contribution to the struggle to end Israel’s occupation and colonisation of Palestinian territory, the siege of Gaza and imprisonment of 1.5 million people, and Israel’s institution of a system of apartheid, by endorsing the following actions: Condemning Israel’s apartheid and occupation policies; Censuring Israel’s violations of the human rights of Palestinians and its failure to abide by international law; Halting any military cooperation or trade with Israel; Refraining from participation in any form of sporting event, academic and cultural cooperation, collaboration or joint projects with Israeli institutions or teams except those that publicly oppose Israel’s apartheid and occupation policies; Advocating a comprehensive boycott of Israeli institutions at national and international levels, including suspension of all forms of funding and subsidies to these institutions; and Supporting and promoting the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaign against Israel. I will stand with Israel the folks here asking me to lead, stand with Israel and i out right hate socialists and all they stand for oh and Palistine is a sub state of Syria and 300 miles to the east of Israel , not anywhere near Gaza if the arab world want there to be a palistinian state take it from arab lands, not Israel , as when Israel was founded there was no Islam, no palistinians , , even the egyptians noted the land as the lands of the Hebrew's ( the former name of the Jewish , hebrew speaking peoples as then people where known by the languages they spoke the egyptians also noted the arabs as deceitful people with distasteful habits at the same time .. not much has changed eh let the greens know how you feel here http://nsw.greens.org.au/news/israel...-and-sanctions Last edited by jack404; 12-07-2011 at 12:27 AM.. |
