Thank God ya didn't by a GM ! A good truck is never a bad thing, even if ya had to put off a few guns in the process. Gotta get to the range and game somehow!

time2, I don't know what you were thinking either. That pickup will rust away and be worth nothing, while 3-4 quality guns will just continue to grow in value! I assume you been walking?

Fudger Only Runs Downhill = FORD
I kid, I kid. It's better to have a truck than a few guns, IMO.

may be the d
fastest truck on the road but if it is Ford, it will not pass a gas station and it takes four acres to turn it around. But nice truck anyway. It will haul lots of guns later. UF |

156,000 miles HELL it just got broke in. and the vin# says it was orderd with the 350 superduty suspension pkg. all under 7,000. just a little surface rust from some one geting to close with an industrial power washer. And it will pull my 41 foot camper just had to get it.

Nice looking soot-burner there t2s! I can't read the mirror tag, but it looks like a late 90s?
I'm hoping it's old enough to still be a 7.3L and not a 6.0L. I'm not much of a diesel fan but the T444E is a tough engine to beat. Gotta luv binder-power! ![]() doh...missed your last post. Glad it's a 7.3L. You're dodging quite a few problems sticking with the old big-block diesel...the 6.0L can be a real stinker. Last edited by Bindernut; 02-02-2012 at 09:22 AM.. |

I would rather buy and drive an American made Toyota Tundra over a foreign FORD.
60% of the Ford trucks parts are made out side the USA. ALL Tundras are built in the USA. Since 2007, the Tundra has had 75% or more domestic content (80% in 2010). Every Tundra has either been built in Texas or Princeton, Indiana since the model debuted in 2000…the F150, GM trucks, and Ram have all been built in Mexico at one point or another over the last 10 years. http://www.tundraheadquarters.com/bl...most-american/ |

Let's not kid ourselves here, Howlnmad.
After the 70's recession, the Steel Industry here folded because many companies previously making steel diversified into Oil and shut their doors under competition from Europe and Asia. There is virtually no steel industry left in the US now. I'm guessing auto manufacturers in the States (be it GM, Ford or Toyota, Honda, or Kia...) are using as much US steel available and still importing to meet their demands. Germany has one of the world's most important steel industry now. India's is growing exponentially. Capitalism at work here folks... Ain't it a bitch when US workers get pinched though? So yes, Buy American if you can afford to. Congratulations on the Ford, Time2shoot! |

Final point of assembly in the states is still a good point for American jobs, but they all are built using parts from here, there, and everywhere. |

At least you got the right kind of truck. Now do the right thing on the 1911.
