Default Cheney had hunting accident

Fox News reporting that Cheney shot a fellow hunter by accident. Hunter is okay with minor injuries.

Sounds like the guy was hit with some stray birdshot that broke the skin, but still wouldn't be fun and will just give the anti-gunners and liberals alike plenty of ammo.

Maybe he was on our site yesterday and wanted to try the "Raining birdshot" experiment for himself?

Thats what I was going to say. Spin it until another piece of legislation is passed.

This is the beginning of another victory for the anti gunners. I can see it now.

From yahoo news, By LYNN BREZOSKY and NEDRA PICKLER, Associated Press Writers Libs for sure
"""Katharine Armstrong, the ranch's owner, said Sunday that Cheney was using a 28-gauge shotgun and that Whittington was about 30 yards away when he was hit in the cheek, neck and chest.""" I'm surprised it didn't continue with "abdomen, groin and all four limbs! Where is PETA when you need them"

Does anyone here have one of those 28 gauge guns fer sale, (hiccup)

The GOP should make this there response when the press asks about it.
Kennedy's Olds has killed more people than Cheney's shotgun.

Does this mean we now have open season on lawyers? The guy that got hit was not where he was supposed to be.

Heard the first "spoof" today on the radio; a song titled "Cheney's Got a Gun" to the melody of "Janie's Got a Gun" by Aerosmith. Gotta admit it was pretty funny.

What gets me, though, is that more people are injured in automobile accidents than hunting accidents, and yet you never hear anyone screaming to ban automobiles.

And the fault here is with the humans, not the shotguns. The lawyer didn't announce his return to the hunting party.

I agree WG. I also agree that this means that there is a season on lawyers and that it now coincides with quail season!

I actually don't think the anti-gunners will go too far with it. This is being spun as just an accident, nothing major. It's more funny than it is serious. The anti's know better than to attack hunting rights. They'll get spanked for sure if they try that.

Fox is now reporting that the hospitalized hunter had a minor heartattack. Breaking news. I hope the guy is okay.
