winchester model 1892 - The Firearms Forum

I own a model 1892 made in 1907. all original .32 cal with octoganol barrel. I would say it is 70-80% in regards to condition. What is a rifle like this worth? I do not know if I should shoot it or not. Thanks,Don

I shoot mine and love it. It looks good, shoots the 357Mag well, and handles well. I got mine for what it is: a refurbished, caliber modified lever gun. I certainly could at least get my money back but it will never be for sale by me. Maybe my kids will sell it after I am gone but I sure won't.

Your Winchester '92 in .32 caliber is .32-20, not .32 Winchester.

Generally speaking, a '92 Rifle or Carbine is worth $1,500 to $1,600 in 80% condition, $1,250 to $1,300 in 70%.....but it could be worth more.

In order to give you a value, we'll need to know the following:

Musket (30" bbl), Rifle (24" bbl), Carbine (20" bbl) or Trapper's Carbine (14", 15", or 16" bbl)???

Solid frame or takedown?

Serial # above or below 168,000?

Plain or fancy pistol grip checkered wood (Deluxe Model)?
