Default Iver Johnson Hammerless design number

Bill you may have remember asking about the extractor on this one but a little background info would be appreciated.
Its a Iver Johnson Hammerless .38S&W with a 3 1/4 barrel. Blued finish (even though it looks like black chrome to me) serial number D-091-7971-0724-2672 The D could be a really poorly electopenciled A. I need to know the design change so I can get the right extractor as you noted in a previous post.
Thanks for the help

the serial number you note is way two long for an iver johnson safety automatic revolver. where is this found? the main serial number should be under the grips on the left side. information also needed; what does the top latch look like, what does the hammer spring look like, and what are all the marking and where are they found.

I'll get that stuff. The number I found was electro penciled under the cylinder on the bottom frame strap. I'll get a picture to help out. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks Bill. This one seems to be a .38 S&W. I'm assuming black powder?
