noticed the 2022 and p228 look extremely simular, but the 2022 retails about $250 less! what the difference? is the p228 or p229 really worth the extra $250?

Not to me.
I like my 2022 just fine. If you go to the Sig forum you can get more responses to your question. You will also find out how good the 2022 is. I got mine for $300 slightly used (2009 build) with 3 mags in the original black box. It has been a fantastic pistol. I just didn't see the need to pay more for a new or more expensive SIG. Some Sig owners just don't like plastic guns and are willing to pay more for the all metal ones. The 228 is DAK DAO while the 2022 can be had in DA/SA or DAO. The pro SP2009 does not have the rail under the barrel like the 2022 and is harder to find. Suit yourself. The difference in cost helped pay for my G27. http://www.genitron.com/HandgunDB/DB...=1183&ID3=2287 Last edited by group17; 05-05-2010 at 10:51 AM.. |
