The Kimber BP Ten II is a double-stack 1911 .45. Does anyone reading have one & can give me your opinion? How is the recoil w/ the steel slide/polymer/alumininum frame. My Ruger had a real funky recoil. I'm used to shooting a steel on steel 1911. How do you like the pistol overall?

I had a chance to shoot one and didn't care for it. Probably a good pistol but I don't like plastic.

I finally got to fondle one yesterday. Barell was too short & I didn't care for the Plastic grip, either.
I did shoot my Brothers XD-45. It was ok, but I guess I prefer the steel on steel feel of a 1911. I also shot his new S&W Jerry Miculek revolver w/ 45 moon clips. pretty sweet, single action trigger was real nice, the double was a little stiff. I did manage to get 5 of 6 in the 9/10 rings @ 10 yds in double action. Guess I'm searching for a Kal. model Para 45. Got to have that double stack grip. Nothing else legal in Kal, unless it is a used gun.

Nice lookin' pair, Kentucky.
I did buy a new Para P1445 in Stainless. It's in the shop getting a new trigger & ambi-thumb safety. Real sweet!

I've had one since Feb. 2007 and I love it. It fits my hand well, recoil is very manageable & it is very accurate. Great gun for the money and it's a Kimber
