Default My training patrol

I had just been sent up to the 101st, and I had to perform some patroling duties.

The NUGS (which was me at the time) went on patrol in relatively "Safe" areas to see how they performed.

these pictures were west of highway one and to the southwest of Phu Bai ..the rail line was a spur line that had been attacked recently and we were looking for signs of them returning to complete the job.

there was a family that lived right by the tracks and aI will include a few pictures of them too.

turns out... the old man was VC, but had "converted"...

I second that ... Super Flicks Mith!

I am assuming that these tracks led into Hue and our squad took the railroad station in that city. I'll never forget THAT day.

I have a picture of the station on my old computer and will have to dig it up and post it here.

Thanks again Mith...
