I have a gorgeous '94. Pistol grip, 1/2 rnd 1/2oct bbl in excellent shape. However the buttplate is missing. This rifle was custom ordered by my grandfather around 1908. Serial#is 444312. If anybody can point me in the right direction in replacing it my son and I would be very grateful. Thanks Joe J.

I would try e-gunparts they stock almost everything for old guns, especially common ones like the '94. Here's a link:
http://www.gunpartscorp.com/ Here's a picture of the buttplate on my old '94 from 1911. Does it look like it's the same style as yours?
