I was thinking of getting a couple for my colt gold cup. They look well made and are reasonable in price. In this age where truth is fleeting and mass manipulation is common, the ability to detect when something doesn't make sense is a valuable one. boomatic V.I.P. Can't do better than Wilsons...McCormick are usually good too...seen a bad one or two. Really get what you pay for in mags. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "A .45 for every man woman, and child if I am elected President. Mec-Gar is the OEM for many handguns on the market today..You can't go wrong with a Mec-Gar magazine. shooter45 us *TFF Chief Of Staff* Posts: 1882 (10/17/02 2:45:43 pm) Reply Re: MEC-GAR Magazines -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mec-Gar mags are OK. Metalform also makes an excellent mag. rayra V.I.P. Use 10rd McCormicks in my 1911, myself. I didn't experience any problems with it feeding as far as I experienced. Buy one, see how you like it, that's what I suggest. But for a 1911 frame I'd buy a Chip or Wilson as the others have suggested.
