I just checked with the Bertie Co NC sheriff's department to see if UN observers would stationed here-They indicated NO. We will see. The UN observers have North Carolina as a state of "interest" and have planned to deploy here.

Here's the Handbook of rules for OSCE (UN Election Observers). http://www.osce.org/odihr/elections/70293

It includes what they must carry to identify themselves, conduct, etc. May be of interest to those in states which are allowing them to observe.

Why would they be "observing" us? What concern is it of theirs if I vote for myself or any one of you.. except jack404.. sorry buddy ( you don't qualify).. wait.. neither did obummer! so I guess I can vote for jack!

Because the US has been a member of the organization since 1973, if I'm not mistaken. This is not the first time various states have invited them in. It's hoped that they can learn how we handle voting in this country so that they know what a free election looks like when they visit various 3rd world countries.

Looking for a Presidential candidate who's first official act would be to put a "For Sale or Rent" sign on the UN building.
