Found a Beretta Model 318 pistol for sale locally that peaked my interest. It has about 80% of original finish remaininh, grips are in very good condition, and bore appears clean. Was wondering what information I could get as far as years of manufacturer and ofcourse value range for this gun. Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

The Model 318 is an improved version of the old Model 1919 with the butt reshaped for a better grip.
There's some dispute as to when they were made. The Blue Book says: "Limited production during 1936-37, in ser. no. range 609,000-615,000." The Standard Catalog of Firearms says: "In the United States it was known as the "Panther". Manufactured between 1935 and 1946." Blue Book value: 90% - $180 80% - $160 70% - $140 |
