Thanks so very much Donna and Nighthawk. And thanks very much for posting this Larry.

I suppose that in war and peace a minority of people can say that they have job satisfaction. I think that as far as flying dustoff in Vietnam, the best thing I can say about it is that there was an infinite amount of job satisfaction. While I can still picture a myriad of pained faces and torn up bodies and hear those screams, I'm glad that we were able to save a good portion of those lives. That's what made my tour in Vietnam worthwhile. Thank you again, Larry, for posting the "dustoff" memory.

I don't usually say much in here because to me this
particular forum is sacred ground, BUT let me just
say THANK YOU Dave and ALL of you "Doc/Medivac's!"
You truly are a bunch of hump bustin heroes in my book!

Dave-Ditto what Donna, JD, Larry, and Nighthawk have said. I've always had the greatest respect for chopper pilots in general and dustoff's in particular. Many a son sent home alive thanks to the tireless efforts of you and men like you. You are all indeed a special breed.

Thank you, Dave! And to all the Dust-off pilots and crew that worked so tirelessly under
extremely dangerous conditions to get the wounded out.
